Beaufort Street Festival

While we were away in NZ the inaugural Beaufort Street Festival was held. I believe it was a great success - yesterday I saw knitting still wrapped around poles and a hammock in the middle of the road - I must go back an take some photos.
and it has given me an idea to maybe wrap some textile work around some poles in my environs.....
I do still have art to wear in my garden growing old gracefully.

That Street Festival sounds like great fun Dale. I don't know what the locals here would think if our lamp-posts started wearing knitting - we'd probably need planning permission anyway! It would perk the town up after the Christmas decorations come down.

some of the local artists have been decorating Freo as well - Annie Rawle is one I know...they have a Facebook group and it looks like a lot of fun - not sure if it is still happening
